The Inclusive Construction Initiative is a joint effort between the University of Chicago Office of Civic Engagement, Facilities Services, and UChicago Medicine to create opportunities for minorities, women, and local residents on campus projects.
The initiative produces a quarterly report on the progress we‘ve made toward our goals of 35 percent minority- and 6 percent women-owned contractors, and 40 percent local construction workers.
